In a few hours, 2006 will be over. Will the next year see me fulfill the resolution I have had for the last two years? Only time will tell! Happy New Year, everyone!

Had a really cool day today, Justin came over. We played Magic, played video games, went walking, had really cool conversation! Gotta take the cat to the vet tomorrow though, annoyingly :-( Ciao!

One Week Until Christmas Eve!

Not done that much today... I went to a carol service at church, and put the decorations up. Also, I made the best typo ever! I wrote: 'Cool. Had a good gay?' Typo of the month? I think so!

It's Chriiiistmaaaas!

Well, one term down! Had maths, which was dead simple, really (so far, so good!), and had a lounge-around study the rest of the day. Looking forward to the rest of the hols!
Oh yeah, I changed my blog so now non-members can comment. I had this problem yesterday, but it's okay now! Ciao!

These Past Few Days...

A lot has happened since I last posted. Mainly in my head, but here we go!
Firstly, I had a weird dream the other night: it was kind of a blend between real life and the map screen from some Mario games. I picked up an ice sword at one point (as I'd been reading about the Vorpal Blade at one point earlier this week, and the Tales games have an ice sword called Vorpal Blade). I stood in a Tesco at one point, talking to two friends, even though one of them was speaking in an incomprehensible language. Also, disturbingly, a girl, who I'm sure I've met before in a previous dream, began fitting and died. I think I've seen her in a dream before, arguing with Justin about the number of possible ways to fill in a single sudoku grid, but if so, I'd since forgotten. I'm sure it wasn't a memory that my dream invented, but is it possible for dreams to bring back memories of long-forgotten dreams? Weird...
Secondly, yesterday was the day of the Christmas luch, which was, despite CAS, really cool. I had a blast playing Charades! I took Tom's idea to do 'Jackass 2', so I did the second word for 'Two', then I ran. People guessed 'running', 'runner', etc., but then I kept running, straight into the vending machine, and fell to the floor! And the crowd went wild!!! Of course, I had to do it again so they could film it. It hurt more the second time! But it was hilarious!
Thirdly, I went to the disco at school yesterday. It was okay, as far as discos go, but I'm not much of a dancer, so I sat on the side for a lot of it. As I looked around the hall, though, seeing most everyone sucking face, I pinpointed the feeling of loneliness I have. It's as though I'm waiting for someone, but I don't know who she is, or when she'll arrive...Fourthly, today, the penultimate day at school before Christmas, was cool:
  • We watched videos on genetics in biology.
  • We looked up 'Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer' in French.
  • Study for period 3.
  • Chemistry was cancelled period 4.
  • Geography was cancelled period 5, so I had a great time chatting.

Only one maths lesson to go before Christmas. Can I survive it? Only time will tell. So, until next time, adios amigos!

Random Stuffage

Sent off my work experience application to the Sanger Institute. Fingers crossed for a quick return. School's been okay. Only 2 weeks until Christmas holidays!

JLPT

Went to London today to take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 4. The trains were closed, so we crammed everyone into my dad's car, which was hilarious! Part one was good, part two was terrible, and part 3 was okay, so fingers crossed. Went to my brother's friend's birthday party yesterday, and saw Flushed Away. Hilarious!
