It occured to me that I hadn't posted over the Easter weekend, so I decided I'd post a poem I wrote this evening for my girlfriend ^^

For Mia

Dark is the path I have trodden,
Foolish, the things I have done -
Mistakes that will ne'er be forgotten,
As always I searched for the one.

I once turned away, went without you;
The sin weighs my heart down with stone.
Yet now, our sweet love doth continue,
And with my whole life, I'll atone.

I swear to be with you forever,
The one that my heart so adores.
I long for the times we're together;
Maria, my love is all yours.
